Fun background using Shimmerz and Tissue Paper

Hello there! Melissa stopping in today with a fun technique that will add a lot of texture, color and fun to your cards using tissue paper! It's super easy to do, so let's get started.

Here are the Shimmerz Products I used to make this card.

~ Spun Sugar Dazzlerz
~ Blue Jeans and Palm Reader Vibez
~ See ya Latte' Spritz
~ Gold Glimmer Blingz

To get started, simply crumble up some small pieces of tissue paper. And then flatten a little.

 Next, spread a thin layer of the Spun Sugar Dazzlerz onto your card front panel.

Then while wet, add your pieces of tissue paper to the cardstock, making sure to cover most of it.

Then add another layer of the Dazzlerz over the tissue paper.

Spray randomly with the Blue Jeans and Palm Reader Vibez and See ya Latte' Spritz.  Set aside to dry completely.

Then when completely dry, you can press down on the tissue paper lightly to make it thinner if you prefer. I then added some of the Gold Glimmer Blingz to the tissue paper using a paint brush. Decorate as desired.

It really gives a lot of dimension and texture to a card.
